Bail Lawyer in Mumbai
Overview
Counsel you can reach, in courts we appear in daily
Bail matters are decided on preparation and timing. We act on anticipatory bail under Section 482 BNSS (Section 438 CrPC) and regular bail under Section 483 BNSS (Section 439 CrPC) before the Sessions Courts at Mumbai and Thane and the Bombay High Court, and treat them as same-day work when arrest is imminent.
The application itself decides most of the outcome: the facts as they actually appear in the FIR, the sections invoked, the custody position, the antecedents, and a truthful account of the applicant's cooperation. We draft on that basis rather than on boilerplate.
If bail is rejected, the next step is not a repeat application on the same material — it is either a change of circumstance or an approach to the higher forum. We tell you which of the two applies.

FAQ
Questions clients ask
How quickly can anticipatory bail be filed in Mumbai?
Where the FIR details are available, the application can usually be drafted and filed the same or next working day, with interim protection pressed on the first hearing.
Can bail be applied for before an FIR is registered?
Anticipatory bail requires a reasonable apprehension of arrest for a non-bailable offence — usually an FIR or a specific complaint. Without that, other protective steps may be advised instead.
What happens if bail is rejected?
You can approach the higher forum, or file afresh on a genuine change of circumstance. Repeating the same application on identical material rarely succeeds.
Do you handle bail in Thane and Mira Road FIRs?
Yes. FIRs from Thane district are taken up before the Thane Sessions Court, with the Bombay High Court as the next forum.
