About the Competitions
Client Counselling Competition
The Client Counselling Competition aims to enhance the practical skills of law students by simulating real-life client interviews. This competition will provide students with an opportunity to develop their interviewing, counselling, and analytical skills, which are essential for effective legal practice.
Mediation Competition
Mediation serves as one of the prominent form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), offering a constructive and voluntary method for parties to resolve conflicts outside traditional court processes.The competition aims to foster mediation skills among law students, promote alternative dispute resolution, and provide a platform for them to showcase their abilities.
19th Shankarrao Kanitkar Moot Court Competition
The Shankarrao Kanitkar Moot Court Competition is a prestigious event that provides students with a platform to develop their advocacy skills. Held since 2006, this competition involves drafting briefs and participating in oral arguments, simulating real courtroom experiences. It tests student’s legal reasoning, research and presentation skills offering them valuable practical experience.
