Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.Education: Must hold a degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India as of 05 January 2025.

Desirable Qualification

Knowledge of the customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the state’s peculiar conditions.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 22 yearsMaximum Age: 35 years as of 05 January 2025Age Relaxation: 3 years for Himachal Pradesh SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Application Process

Online Application

Visit the HPPSC Official Website and register on the One-Time Registration System (OTRS).Fill out the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) form and upload required documents such as:Matriculation Certificate for age proof.Law degree certificate and mark sheets.Category Certificate (if applicable).Bonafide Himachali Certificate (for reserved categories).

Offline Submission

Submit the self-attested hard copies of documents along with the ORA printout to:

Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination will consist of three objective papers with 50 questions each:
