Jabalpur | May 24, 2025 — Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur proudly announces that three of its exceptional law students—Ms. Rashmi Mishra, Mr. Ayush Misra, and Ms. Vagisha Mandloi—have qualified for the World Rounds of the Nuremberg Moot Court Competition 2025, an internationally renowned event dedicated to international criminal law and human rights.
Under the mentorship of Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Praveen Tripathi, Registrar; and Mr. Shashank Pathak, Faculty In-Charge, Moot Court Committee, the team has demonstrated exemplary commitment and legal acumen. They are among only three teams from India to make it to the global stage.
This year, over 147 teams from across the world participated in the competition. The DNLU team not only stood out among Indian law schools but also secured the 14th position globally, placing them among the top 40 teams, alongside elite institutions such as the University of Oxford.
The qualification process included two rigorous rounds—the Letter of Motivation and the Written Submissions stage—spanning four months of intensive preparation. Their advancement is a testament to their hard work, strategic advocacy, and deep understanding of international law.
The team will now represent India at the World Rounds in Nuremberg, Germany, marking a proud moment for DNLU and the entire Indian legal academic community.
Legal Bites congratulates the team and wishes them the very best for the final rounds.
