24th July, Jabalpur – Dharmashastra National Law University Signs MoU with Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. Paving the Way for Academic Exchange and Legal Research Collaboration
A Milestone in Inter-Institutional Cooperation
In a significant move to strengthen academic ties and foster collaborative growth in legal education, Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow. The MoU was signed on 23rd July 2025 at the DNLU campus by Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha, Vice-Chancellor of DNLU, and Prof. (Dr.) Amar Pal Singh, Vice-Chancellor of RMLNLU.
This strategic agreement aims to facilitate student and faculty exchange, promote joint research and publications, and organise collaborative academic initiatives such as seminars, moot court competitions, and training programs.
About Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur

About Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU) was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh through U.P. Act No. 28 of 2005 and commenced operations on 4th January 2006. Founded to meet the evolving challenges in legal education, the university stands as a pillar of academic excellence in northern India.
The current administration includes:
- Prof. (Dr.) Amar Pal Singh – Vice-Chancellor
- Mr. Girijesh Kumar Tyagi, IAS – Registrar
Prof. Singh is a noted academician and administrator with nearly four decades of experience in the field of law. Before his current role at RMLNLU, he served as Dean at the University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi.
His career highlights include:
- 11 years in the legal industry
- 28 years in teaching and research
- Teaching roles at Government Dungar College (Bikaner), NLU Jodhpur, RMLNLU, and GGSIP University
- Authorship of 4 books and 62 published papers in national and international journals
Over 200 invited lectures and presentations delivered across prestigious institutions in India and abroad
