Jabalpur, 26 Jan 2025 – Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur, commemorated India’s 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
Flag Hoisting Marks the Start of Celebrations
The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
Inspiring Address by the Vice-Chancellor
Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha emphasized the importance of understanding and upholding the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. He highlighted the significance of integrity and other constitutional principles, particularly focusing on Article 394 and the amendments made over the years. Prof. Sinha also paid tribute to the vital contributions of women in drafting the Constitution, recognizing the 15 women who played a pivotal role in its formulation.
Registrar’s Reflections on Republic Day
On this occasion, Dr. Praveen Tripathi, Registrar, extended his heartfelt wishes to everyone and underscored the significance of Republic Day in shaping the nation’s democratic framework. He highlighted the importance of reflecting on the values that strengthen the country’s unity and democracy.
Cultural Performances Illuminate the Event
The celebration featured vibrant cultural performances by students, adding a lively and patriotic touch to the occasion. Ms. Vidhi Sharma and Ms. Mouli Dixit delivered soulful patriotic songs that deeply resonated with the audience. A stirring patriotic speech by Mr. Shreyash Jain further inspired the attendees.
Additionally, Ms. Vanshali Patidar received special recognition for her contributions, and the event was seamlessly coordinated by Ms. Pragati Jha.

The event was graced by the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Smt. Sarita Rawat, Finance Controller; Prof. (Dr.) Shailesh N. Hadli; and Dr. Manwendra K. Tiwari, Associate Professor.
