A Brief Introduction

The Faculty of Law (FoL) at Manipal University Jaipur has quickly earned recognition as a modern centre for legal education in India. Dean’s Name: Prof. (Dr.) Bharti (Professor & Dean, Faculty of Law, Manipal University,Jaipur)

Background: Prof. (Dr.) Bharti is a renowned academic and legal scholar with over two decades of teaching and leadership experience. She began her career at the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi (1998–2009) and later became a founding professor at National Law University, Delhi in 2009, where she also served as Associate Dean (Academics) and Director of the Centre for Environmental Law, Policy and Research.

Holding a Master’s in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, she has authored numerous publications and led major research projects with the Law Commission of India, the Ministry of Women and Child Development, and the National Green Tribunal. She has trained judicial officers, parliamentary staff, and civil servants at institutions like BPST, ICPS, and LBSNAA, and has delivered lectures internationally in Bhutan, Turkey, Singapore, and South Africa.

She has also shared legal insights on Sansad TV and continues to be invited by leading universities such as DU, Jamia Millia Islamia, NLSIU Bengaluru, and NUJS Kolkata. Her expertise spans Environmental Law, Constitutional Law, Women & Law, Mediation, and Administrative Law.

At MUJ, she leads the Faculty of Law with a vision of academic rigour, practical training, and nurturing globally responsible legal professionals.
