About the Workshop
Alliance Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (ACIPR), Alliance School of Law, Alliance University, Bengaluru, is organising a one-day “National Workshop on Fostering Innovation and Creativity through Sustainability towards a Common Future” to commemorate World Intellectual Property Day, 2024. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are intrinsically intertwined, fostering innovation and environmental stewardship.
This workshop explores the nexus between IP and SDGs, delving into national as well as international initiatives and strategies to bridge the gap. It aims to unravel the intricate relationship between IP protection and the promotion of green technologies, clean energy, and industrial development while addressing pressing global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity, and food security. Participants will gain valuable insights into utilizing IP as a catalyst for sustainable development and making progress toward achieving the SDGs.
