About the Competition

Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad, is delighted to announce the 3rd Annual Trial Advocacy Competition, 2025 (“3rd ATAC, 2025”), where students will engage with a meticulously crafted hypothetical case to demonstrate their persuasive trial skills. The competition will be judged by an esteemed panel of eminent personalities, providing participants with unique insights and professional guidance. The previous edition has seen participation from top institutions nationwide, fostering a high standard of legal debate and practical application.

Eligibility

The 3rd ATAC, 2025, invites participation from students enrolled in 5-year integrated or 3-year LLB programs across India. The team composition for the competition initially includes 2 speakers and 2 witnesses. However, from the semifinals onward, the team structure changes to 2 speakers and 2 researchers, with us providing the witnesses for both the semifinals and finals. This means that while team members will focus on speaking and researching roles, they will not be responsible for providing their own witnesses in the latter rounds, as this will be handled by us to ensure consistency in the semifinals and finals.
